NORWICH CHURCHES!

Norwich is an amazing city, not so big to be suffocating, neither too small to be boring! Modern buildings close to ancient mediaeval churches, the Castle, two huge cathedrals, an interesting Railway station, beautiful gardens, nice and pleasant streets, the old market, shopping galleries, secondhand bookshops, charities, bars, pubs...
Let's talk about the churches.
Everywhere you go in Norwich, you see a church. They come in all sizes and shapes. There are so many that they are often overlooked! No other city  (in the world?) has so many surviving mediæval churches. The wealth generated by the wool trade throughout the Middle Ages financed the construction of many fine churches.
